On May 28, 2005 Butch Rose piloted the rear engine dragster for the final three runs in order to earn his NHRA competitive License. He had to have passes of 9.99 or better on his last two laps. He easily completed that in his first two.

Lap 1: 9.67 Seconds at 118 MPH

Lap 2: 8.66 Seconds at 157 MPH

Lap 3: 8.79 Seconds at 159 MPH
